The Mill Inn is a late 18th century building which was formerly a Coaching Inn and a Temperance Hotel. It's name was taken from the original Meal Mill which stood nearby, and it was a frequent stopping point for coaches travelling between Edinburgh and Aberdeen. It continued as a hotel until the late 1990s, when it was converted into flats.
